Renovation of Johne de Silva Hall will commence on 07th November
The Ministry of Culture and the Arts and the Department of Cultural Affairs have taken steps to construct Johne de Silva Memorial Hall in terms of the development of performing art theatres as envisaged in  Mahinda Chinthana Policy Statement and the decision taken at 2012 budget proposals. The State Children’s Drama festival 2014 jointly organized by the Department of Cultural Affairs and the Panel of Drama of the Sri Lanka Arts Council on the instructions of the Ministry of Culture and the Arts will be held from 15th September to 30th September 2014 at 5.00 p.m. at New Town Hall, Colombo 07.
